I think Ezra at least knew who Aria was before she came to Rosewood. The show makes a point of us seeing Aria accidentally run into him in the hallway of Hollis. I have always wondered if the pictures that Ali had of Aria while she was sleeping were actually taken by Ezra... Like he had been stalking her or something... Ali found out and had her own dealings with him and hid the pictures. Perhaps a little far fetched, but who knows!
